Box-Fit

Get that upper body moving, release some built up stress, tone those arms and break out a sweat! Box-Fit is our longest running class that has been going since we started in 2003.

 

We combine the use of the punching bags with body-weight exercises, running and games to make sure we get your heart rate up, but we have now added a fresh energy and new ideas with our new trainer Lauren.

 

 

 

Box-Fit is a fitness based class and all punching is done on the punching bags and not on each other. All fitness levels/age groups are welcome and catered for and we aim to create a family friendly atmosphere. 

WHEN: Saturdays 7am & Wednesdays 6:15pm

HOW MUCH:  $15 per individual session

EQUIPMENT: Inners and Gloves are provided though you are welcome to bring your own. Also bring along a water bottle, a towel and a big smile!

 

Morning Circuit

Running, jumping, pushing, pulling, stepping, planking, balancing, lifting, boxing, chasing, throwing, holding, squatting and lunging . . put them all together and you get our most versatile fitness class!

 

We combine just about all types of movement and fitness activities in a jam packed 45 minute session. Each session is different and designed to meet the many variations in fitness levels. They may be held indoors or outdoors or maybe even a quick jog to Newstead Park or the hills of Albion, Ascot and Hamilton.

 

We never have to cancel due to weather and we always make sure we have fun!! There is definitely no yelling or abuse and we encourage all ages, and fitness levels to come and join our awesome group of members who feel more like a big group of friends, rather than victims of an aggressive trainer.

 

WHEN: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Friday 6:00am to 6:45am

HOW MUCH:  $ per individual session

EQUIPMENT: All provided. Please bring a towel and water bottle.

 

COMING in 2020

 

A new class at Health For Life, this is a session designed to focus primarily on strength. As with our other classes, this is not about lifting the biggest weight you can but rather developing and building useable patterns of strength for everyday life.

These classes are studio-based, formatted and remain the same for a period of 2 weeks at a time. This allows the body time to adapt and improve, but also allows anyone to join at any time.

We run 2 different circuits at any one time so that you also get variety that makes consistent training alot easier.

Foam Roll / Stretching

Wrapped up in one session, we relieve stiffness, tightness and sore spots with foam rolling which then allows us to get the true benefits from stretching our body as a whole.

We will show you how to safely and correctly use foam rollers and trigger balls and how to work on just about every part of your body.
